Frank M. “Fritz” Soltis, 95, of St. Clairsville, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022, in Rolling Hills Retirement Center. He was born on October 12, 1926, in Barton a son of the late Andrew and Anna (Malice) Soltis. Frank was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wolfhurst, Lansing Sportsman’s Club, St. Clairsville Eagles, American Legion in Martins Ferry, and the VFW in St. Clairsville. He served his country in the United States Army Airborne, during WWII.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Erma (Masiff) Soltis; five brothers, Steve, Joe, John, Bill, and George Soltis, two sisters: Sophia Fugo, and Betty Sabo, and a stepson Tino Agostini.
He is survived by his second wife, Josephine “Dee” (Magnone) Soltis; two daughters, Charlene Taylor, and Michele (Mathew)Ralston; five grandchildren and a stepson Sam Agostini.
Frank enjoyed camping, fishing, and working in his gardens.
In keeping with his wishes, a private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
