George Van Gosen

George Van Gosen, 75 of Bridgeport passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.  He was born February 5, 1949, in Bellaire, OH, the son of the late Peggy Jane Van Gosen. 

George was a veteran of the United States Army and was a retired owner/operator Truck Driver. 

He was a devoted husband, father, and Papa, who dedicated the same level of love and respect to his family as he did to his truck driving. 

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his son, Michael Van Gosen. 

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 43 years, Tina (King) Van Gosen, daughters, Lisa (Brandon) Meddings, Madison (Travis) Weisenborn, Skyler (Drew Schluter) Van Gosen, and granddaughter, Lumen Weisenborn. 

In keeping with George’s wishes there will be no public visitation, and a burial will be held at the convenience of the family at the Powhatan Point Cemetery.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Bridgeport, OH 43912.
