Gerald Anthony Lattocha Sr, 88, of Wolfhurst, passed away Friday, June 13, 2025, in Forest Hills Care Center. He was born on October 21, 1936, in Martins Ferry, a son of the late Steve and Margaret (Stopski) Lattocha. Gerald was a member of the East Richland Friends Church and served his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cutting grass, and watching his grandchildren play softball. His humor and ornery spirit will be sadly miss by all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Betty (Polivka) Lattocha; children, Catherine Lester, Cheryl (Ron) Hummel and Gerald Lattocha Jr; a brother, Steve (Nelva) Lattocha; a sister, Sandra (Phil) Chalmers; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
Gerald was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Eugene, and Ernie Lattocha; and by a special aunt and uncle who raised him, Bessie, and Andy Lattocha.
Friends may call Monday from 6-8 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday at 1 pm in the Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Wenger officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove. Military Honors presented by the Belmont County Veterans Association.
