Glen J. Pettit

Glen J. Pettit, 76 of Bridgeport passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Rolling Hills Nursing Home surrounded by his family.  He was born April 14, 1949, in Glen Dale, WV, the son of the late Carl W. and Alice Mae (Jones) Pettit. 

Glen was retired and proudly served his country in the United States Army where he held the rank of Lieutenant.

It was in the service where he forged lifelong friendships and developed a strong sense of duty and service. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Willis Pettit. 

Left to cherish his memory are his long-time life partner, Ruth Garrison, brother, Carl W. Pettit and nieces and nephews. 

In keeping with his wishes all services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.   He will be laid to rest at Halcyon Hills Cemetery next to his parents.   Arrangements have been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home – Brookside, 920 National Rd., Bridgeport, OH 43912.
