Harold A. Barr, 89, of Morristown, Ohio, died Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Liza's Place. He was born April 13, 1925 in Belmont County, Ohio, son of the late John A. Barr and Belle McConnell Barr. A loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Harold was a faithful member and trustee of Morristown United Methodist Church. He loved to travel with his wife, Lois, in their mobile home. They traveled extensively throughout the Rockies. He had a passion for woodworking. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons, John Randall and Richard James Barr and brother, Harry L. Barr. Harold is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lois M. Barr of Morristown; son, Robert A. (Dawn) Barr of Bethesda; grandchildren, Joby Barr of Morristown and Makenzie Barr of Morgantown; great-grandchildren, Aleena, Kelsi, Kaylin, and Noah; step-son, Nathan McConnaughy; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends are welcome to visit, Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Home & Crematory, 204 Main Street, Morristown, Ohio, where the service will be conducted, Monday 2 p.m. Reverend Gene Miller and Reverend Gary Lamb-Hart officiating.
