Helen Jean (Thonen) Harbourt

Helen Jean (Thonen) Harbourt, 84, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at Sienna Skilled Nursing in Wintersville, Ohio. She was born on April 9, 1940, the oldest of 4 children of the late Elmer and Helen (Miller) Thonen.

 She was a member of St. Adalbert Catholic Church and retired from being an Avon sales representative after many years and worked in the office of Tower Trucking in Wheeling, WV. Helen Jean enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her great grandchildren, and a good game of bingo.

 She is proceeded in death by her husband of 53 years, John Paul Harbourt; parents Elmer and Helen (Miller) Thonen; and 2 brothers Jim, and John Thonen.

 She is survived by her two children, son Mike (Deb) Harbourt, daughter Tanya DeCapito; 4 grandchildren Miranda (Dakota) Bednarek, Amber DeCapito, Anthony DeCapito, and Taylor Harbourt; 5 great grandchildren, sister Sue (Joe) Forrester; niece Staci (Chris) Sengewalt; nephew Matthew (Logan) Forrester- Smith; 3 great nieces and 2 great nephews. 

 Family and Friends may call Thursday, November 21, 2024, from 9am to 10am at the Wilson Funeral Home – Dillonvale, 154 Second St., Dillonvale, OH 43917.  Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated, Thursday, November 21, 2024, at 10:30 am at St. Adalbert Catholic Church, 39 Smithfield St., Dillonvale, with Fr. William Cross officiating.  Burial to follow at Holly Memorial Garden, Pleasant Grove.
