Helen E. (DelGallo) Petrella

 Helen E. (DelGallo) Petrella 100, of Mingo Junction, died Saturday July 28, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 17, 1918 in Mingo Junction, a daughter of the late Angelo and Ascenzia (Di Giannantonio) DelGallo.

  She was a lifelong member of St. Agnes Catholic Church Mingo, and a founding member of St. Bernadette Georges Run.

  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband Frank J. Petrella, three brothers Alpitio, Luigi, and Joseph DelGallo, a sister Asunta “Sue” DelGallo Pintaudi, sons in law: Dallas Marks, and Ronald Morris, her step-mother Annie Di Giannantonio DelGallo.

  Helen is survived by her son Richard (Cathy) Petrella of Mingo Junction, two daughters Jean H. Morris of California, and Patricia Ann Marks of Belpre, OH. Grandchildren: Loni Richards, Kathleen (Tracy) Turner, Dallas (Kristin) Marks, Tina (Doug) McAtee, Cindy (James) Comstock, Ronald (Nancy), Robert (Katherine), and Frank (Jennifer) Morris: Great grandchildren: Ryan (Margaret) Turner, Meghan (Matt) Edwards, Michael Turner, Erin (Bill) Sims, Kevin (Jamie) Brunicardi, Emily, Catherine, and Benjamin Marks, Aja Henderson, Jody Waddell, Jonathan, and Ryan Morris, Jessica Nord, Frank Morris Jr. Great great-grandchildren: Amelia Turner, Walker Edwards, Aiden Sims, Isabella Sims, Hillary, Brandon, Briella Comstock, and Jarod Comstock, many nieces and nephews, and two very dear friends Elsie Petrella, and Nancy Kinney.

  Friends will be received at the Blaschalk-Wilson Funeral Home 115 Union Avenue Mingo Junction, on Wednesday August 1, 2018 from 4-8 pm, with wake service at 7:45 pm at the Funeral Home, and then on Thursday at St. Agnes Catholic Church Mingo Junction from 10 am until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am, with Fr. John McCoy as celebrant, entombment in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Steubenville.
