Herman “Fred” VanDyne, 88, of Belmont, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2022. He was born Oct 7, 1933 in Jacobsburg, OH, the son of the late Samuel Warner VanDyne and Ellen (Davis) VanDyne. Herman enjoyed gardening, fishing and spending time with his family. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, the Armed Forces, and retired from Sutton & Stewart.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia “Ginny” (Saffell) VanDyne; a lovely daughter, Lori Wines; a grandson, Daniel Easthom; and 14 siblings.
He is survived by a sister, Gloria VanDyne; daughters, Beverly (Richard) Easthom, Paula (Johnny) Jendrusik, Holli (TJ) Heath, all of Belmont, OH, a son-in-law, Bill Wines; grandchildren, Rochelle (Tim) Barricklow, Misty (Jimmy) Moore, Willy Wines, Chris (Ashley) Wines, Jamie Jendrusik, Sara Jendrusik, Kevin (Hannah) Beal, Dakota Heath; Great-grandchildren, Samuel, Landon, Daphne, Nolan, Karley, JT, Emily, Rori, Waylon, Clay, Natalie, Reinna, Dante, Bowen.
Friends may call Friday, Mar 25 from 11am to time of service at 1pm; Wilson Funeral Home Bethesda Chapel, 322 N. Main St., Bethesda. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery, Morristown.
