Iva ‘Rita’ Skulich, 74, of Martins Ferry, Ohio, passed away July 21st, 2025 at Rolling Hills, Bridgeport, Ohio. She was born September 15, 1950 in New Cumberland, West Virgina, the daughter of the late Nimrod and Pearl (Reed) Crago. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters.
Rita is survived by her husband of 49 years, Al Skulich; sons Jacob (Jenelle) and Joshua (Holly) and daughter Kelli; grand-daughter Elliana and grandson Lincoln; sister Barbara Tingler, sister Linda (Ross) Delaney and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Rita was a 1968 graduate of Oak Glen High School. She was a former employee of Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Duvall Center. Rita retired from Martins Ferry School District as a teacher’s aide/secretary at Hilltop and Ayer’s Elementary Schools. Rita was an accomplished baker and would often make cookies and treats for family and co-workers.
The family would like to thank all the care givers at Rolling Hills for their great care of Rita.
Friends and family will be received for a Memorial Service, Friday, July 25, 2025, from 12 PM to 3 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home – Heslop Chapel, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH 43935.
