James “Jim” Emmanuel Cargnel, 64, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away peacefully at his home on March 19, 2026. He was born on December 5, 1961 in Dennison, Ohio to the late Donna Yoho Lamp and James E. Cargnel.
Jim was a painter and worked in maintenance. He was an avid fisherman. He was the #1 fan of AC/DC. Jim loved his coffee and his precious cats. He enjoyed listening to Joel Osteen preach the gospels. He was a proud grandpa who loved spending time with his family and friends.
Left to cherish memories are his significant other of many years, Tina McLaughlin; children, Tica (Justin) Johnson, Zachery Cargnel; six grandchildren; siblings, Robert E. (Tanya) Cargnel, Carma Cargnel, Dawn (Chad) Hughey; best friend, Chuck Fulton; and friend and prior companion, Melanie Moore Cargnel.
In keeping with Jim’s request, all services are private. Wilson Funeral Home, Barnesville Chapel, 702 E. Main Street, Barnesville, Ohio 43713 is honored to assist the family.
