Janise Kay (Wood) Ewing

Janise Kay Ewing, 75, of Brookside passed away Monday July 7, 2025, at Country Club Retirement Estates Bellaire surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 6, 1949, in South Bend, Pa, a daughter of the late James and June (Thompson) Wood.

Janise was employed at Loose, Save-Rite, and DeVaul’s Pharmacy, she was an avid Pittsburgh Pirate and Steeler fan, and loved flowers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers James and Thomas Wood.

Janise is survived by her loving husband Phillip Ewing, son Matt Ewing of Fayette, West Virginia, and her daughter Nicole Ewing of Bridgeport, and sister Connie Stitzinger of Brooksville, Pa.

According to Janise’s wishes there will be no visitation, and private interment will be held at the convience of the family. Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside assisting the family.
