John R. Callarik

John R.  Callarik, 71 of St. Clairsville, formerly of Bridgeport passed away Thursday, September 22, 2022, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.  He was born November 4, 1950, the son of John J. Callarik and the late Della (Minehart) Callarik. 

John was retired from the JJC Excavating company, a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, was a member of the Forrester’s Club of Lansing, he loved golf, and was an avid Ohio State Football and wrestling fan.  He loved 60’s music and dancing, western movies, and his favorite place to eat and meet with friends is the Sonny’s Boy Restaurant. 

Left to cherish his memory are his love; Vivian Stewart, children; John Casey (Carrie) Callarik of St. Clairsville, Stacey Callarik of Dayton, Angela Smith of Cambridge, grandchildren; Seth (Kaylin) Callarik, Justin Callarik and Madeena Piergallini, Halee (Danny) Figueroa, Gabriel Smith and Brendan Smith, Alyssa, Jayden, and Bailee Smith, great-grandchild; Riverlynn Callarik, and brother; Bruce Callarik. 

Family will receive friends on Sunday, September 25, 2022, at the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside from 2-4 and 6-8.  Funeral service will be Monday, September 26, at 10 am in the funeral home with Fr. John Mucha officiating, burial to follow at Holly Memorial Garden, Pleasant Grove.
