Joseph R. Tennant Jr., 64, of Bridgeport, passed away on Friday, May 11, 2018 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. He was born on December 17, 1953 in Martins Ferry a son of the late Joseph and Naomi “Toots” (Deaton) Tennant Sr. He was a member of St Joseph Catholic Church, was retired from McElroy mine and was a member of the Foresters Club.

Joe is survived by his daughter, Alicia Burns of Bethesda; son, Joseph R. Tennant III of Bellaire; 4 brothers, James (Darla) Tennant of St Clairsville, Jerry (Cathy) Tennant of Lansing, Jeff (Marcy) Tennant and Jack Tennant (Susie) all of Bridgeport; 4 grandchildren and his wife Elisha (Baker) Tennant.

Private funeral arrangements are being held at the convenience of the family. Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Bridgeport, OH is assisting with the arrangements.
