Judith Ann (Dorsey) Michaels

Judith Ann (Dorsey) Michaels, 75 of Bridgeport passed away Saturday, February 1, 2025, at E.O.R.H. She was born November 3, 1949, in Martins Ferry the daughter of the late Elmer R. and Mary Catherine (Oliver) Dorsey. 

Judith was a retired medical transcriptionist for Wheeling Hospital. She and her husband Joe were active members of St. Mary Catholic Church of Martins Ferry, a member of The Ladies of St. Mary Group, and a member of the Sunset Heights Fire Department Auxiliary.   

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 36 years, Joseph Michaels, children, Chad (Shyla) Boyer of Martins Ferry, Jill Boyer of Colerain, Joseph (Chrissy) McPherson of Gratiot, OH, Janice Lynn (Aaron) Baxter of Grove City, OH, sisters, Jo Ellen Kolvek of Shadyside, and Janis (Bob) Krajnyak of Martins Ferry, grandchildren, Hannah and Haleigh Boyer, nephews, Kyle Krajnyak and Michael Kolvek complete her family. 

Family and friends will be received on Friday, February 7, 2025, from 10am till time of Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 11am, at, St. Mary Catholic Church, 20 N. 4th St. Martins Ferry, OH 43935, with Fr. Thomas Marut officiating.  Burial to follow at convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution can be made to The Ladies of St. Mary Church, 20 N. 4th St., Martins Ferry, OH 43935.
