Obituary
Judith “Judy” Jean (Mours) Mitchell, 83, of Lansing, passed away Thursday, August 31, 2023, at her residence. She was born on November 18, 1939, in the home of her late parents, Joseph and Martha (Roseman) Mours. She was an LPN for 26 years, collected coins, loved flower and vegetable gardening, dancing, and singing Patsy Cline songs.
Judy is survived by sons, William “Bill” Rouse, Michael (Molly) Rouse, and Gerald “Jerry” (Julie Ogden) Mitchell; a daughter, JudyAnn (William) McCleary; grandchildren, Dalton, Justin, Stephen, Victoria, Ashley, Justin, Thomas, and Colton; and many great grandchildren; and two fur babies, Emma and Maliki.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a son, Jody Lee Rouse.
Friends may call Sunday from 3-7 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 7 pm in the funeral home with Pastor James Hoff officiating. A private family burial will be held in Holly Memorial Gardens at a later date.
