Katherine Louise (Hennebert) Sutton

Katherine L. Sutton 75, of Mt. Pleasant, Ohio passed away Friday January 16, 2026, at her residence. She was born February 3, 1950, in Wheeling, a daughter of the late Gordon Sr. and Bernadette (Barrett) Hennebert.

 She was a retired Assistant Teacher for CAC of Jefferson County, and a Methodist by faith. Also, she loved to dance and raise her garden and spend times with her family.  

  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters Sandy McDevitt, Gail Seroke and great-granddaughter Hazel Starr-Stinson. 

Kathy is survived by her children Lisa (Bill Neal) of New Athens, James Sutton of Mt. Pleasant, and Leslie Sutton of North Carolina, brothers, Gordon (Shelia) Hennebert II of Rayland, Frank (Julie) Hennebert of Galena, OH Robert (Pam) Hennebert of Mt. Pleasant, sisters Sue (Walt) Kocher of Rayland and Darlene Hennebert of Dillonvale, 10 grandchildren John, Austin, Dakota, Katanna, McKenna, Isabella, Abigail, James, Anastacia, and Ethan, 3 greatgrandchildren Zyhion, Isaiah, and Lorelei.

According to Katherine’s wishes there will be no visitation, and private burial will be held at Highland Cemetery Mt. Pleasant. Wilson Funeral Home 154 Second St. Dillionvale assisting the family.
