Kathy I. (Amie) Dayton

 Kathy Irene Dayton 62, lost her battle to cancer on Monday, August 30, 2021 at WVU Medicine Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV. With pureness in heart and positivity that could move mountains, Kathy was a woman of strength, endurance and above all, LOVE. Although she was just over 5 foot tall, she towered everyone with her uplifting perspectives. It was her mission to make people smile through very silly jokes, pranks on her co-workers, or even a simple kind gesture to a stranger. On many occasions she would spend every dollar in her pocket to play Claw Machines only to win a toy for a small random child whether at a restaurant or the local grocery store, aIl was worth every penny to see them smile. Kathy Irene Dayton was an exemplar Page: 1 saint in the eyes of anyone who knew her. May God bless her with the wings she deserves and has been long overdue. May you rest in peace and know that you will be missed, never forgotten, and always loved. Kathy is survived by her husband of 43 years, Bill Dayton; daughter Chyanne Bennett and her husband Jeremy Bennet; grandchildren Kayla, Jude, Blake and Ansyl Bennett; brothers Troy (Mary) Amie and Darrell (Chris) Amie and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Memorial Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
