Kathy Lou (Thomas) Ghent

Kathy Lou (Thomas) Ghent, 66 of Bridgeport, OH passed away Friday, November 8, 2024, at the WVU Medicine-Wheeling Hospital. She was born May 15, 1958, in Wheeling the daughter of Betty (Green) Thomas of Lansing and the late John Thomas. 

Kathy was retired owner and operator of HomeServices of Wheeling.  She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and loved working in the garden. 

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her companion Bernard “Sonny” Watson, siblings, Charles Morrow, and Shirley Van Meter. 

Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Betty (Green) Thomas of Lansing, children, Melissa (Clayton Caprita) Ghent of Yorkville, Michael (Jennifer)Ghent, Jr. of Dallas, Texas, father of her children, Michael Ghent, Sr. of Benwood,  grandchildren, Cody Crow, Brianna (Mitchell) Reese, Halie and Ellyana Ghent, great-grandchildren, Luna and Liam Reese, sister, JoAnn LeMasters of Zanesville, brother, David Morrow of Wheeling, along with several nieces and nephews. 

In keeping with her wishes all services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside, OH 43912.
