LILA L. BRUBAKER

Lila L. Brubaker, 85, of Powhatan Point, Ohio, passed away August 5, 2020. She was born August 14, 1934 in Bellaire, Ohio to the late Thomas and Ethel (Clarke) Kinder.

Along with her parents, Lila was preceded in death by her daughter, Lorri Morse; sisters, Mona Hudson and Sherrie Kinder; brothers, Roger and Curt Kinder.

Remembering Lila with smiles, laughter, and love are those who survive; her husband of 64 years, Claudis Brubaker of Powhatan Point; sons, Eric Brubaker of Chillicothe, Brent (Marci) Brubaker of Powhatan; grandchildren, Sarah Morse, Marisa Brubaker; sister, Judy O’Fat; brother, Harold “Babe” (Connie) Kinder; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Sharing her life and love with her family, Lila enjoyed being a homemaker, nurturer, and caregiver whole-heartedly.  Nothing was more important than her family and being their constant in everyday life.

In keeping with Lila’s wishes, a Graveside Service will take place on Saturday, August 8, 2020, 11:00 am, at Armstrong Mills Cemetery.

As an expression of sympathy, Memorial Contributions may be made in Lila’s name to the American Heart Association, National Center, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75231.
