Linda (McIntosh) Shablack

Linda (McIntosh) Shablack, longtime resident of Martins Ferry, peacefully passed away on February 6, 2026. Linda was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio on April 25,1950. Linda is predeceased by her parents Hubert and Ella(Bennett) McIntosh, sister Joy Bennett, longtime companion William (Bill) DiBacco and Bobby DiBacco for whom she was a longtime caregiver.

Those left to cherish her memory are daughters Melissa (Bob)Vargo, Johnetta (Cindy Shane) Shablack, Kimberly Shablack (Marty Sansone) Kathy Shablack (Ricky Allen), Amanda(Tony) Saunders, Jennifer DiBacco (John Beck) and son John (Stacey) Shablack Her sixteen beloved grandchildren, Robert and Ashley Vargo, Meghan, Caitlyn and Danielle Marshall, Anthony(Mackenzie) Allen, Andrew, Ashlynn and Aura Mae Allen, Stayzia Ray, Alexus,Tieryn, and Kolbey Shablack, Antonio(Junior) and Ameera Saunders, Haelee Beck, one precious great-grandson Kace Allen.

Beside being a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Linda was a long time employee of The Redman Club in Martins Ferry. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing Yahtzee and Euchre. She loved flowers of all kinds, country music, shopping at thrift stores, and yard sales and her visits to North Carolina.

Linda's family would like to express their sincere gratitude for the compassionate care of Dr William Mercer and the nurses and staff at Good Shepherd Nursing Home.  A viewing will be held at Heslop Chapel 415 Walnut Street Martins Ferry, Ohio on Tuesday February 10, 2026 from 6-8pm and a private family funeral service will be held on Wednesday February 11, 2026. Internment will follow at Riverview Cemetery Martins Ferry, Ohio.
