Marguerite H. Primovic 93, of Bridgeport passed away Tuesday January 14, 2025, at the home of her daughter surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 16, 1931, in Follansbee, WV. The daughter of the late Claude and Helen (Leonard) Grote.
She was a member of St. Joseph catholic Church and the CWC of the Church. She also retired from the Bridgeport School System.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Frank L. Primovic in 2012, a sister Harriet Grote, brothers Freeman and Dick Grote.
Marguerite is survived by her children Marilyn Primovic of Atlanta GA, Dick Primovic of Bridgeport, Jim (Nancy) Primovic of Tampa, FL, and Cindy (Bill) Bruney of Martins Ferry, a sister Bernadete Schultz of Rayland, four grandchildren Craig (Michelle) Bruney, Mandy (Brian) Kanzigg, Amy (Jon) Suttle, and Marilyn (Jameson) Broggi, nine great grandchildren Joey, Charlotte, Jeremiah, Isaiah, Makiyah, Liam, Alex, Isabelle Marguerite, and Mary Frances.
Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside on Friday January 17, 2025, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 10 am with Fr. John Mucha as celebrant, interment Linwood Cemetery Blaine. Wake service will be recited at 2 pm on Friday at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church 68230 Neola Ave. Bridgeport, Ohio 43912.
