Marian (Colaianni) Pastre

Marian Pastre, 90, of Piney Fork, Ohio, passed away September 17, 2020 surrounded by her loving family after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.

 She was born November 19, 1929, to the late Vincent “Jumbo” and Emma (Sebenello) Colaianni.  Marian was preceded in death by her late beloved husband, Joseph A. Pastre, sisters, Eugenia and Betty Eugenia Colaianni, Donna Guilkey, brothers, Gervasio and Vincent Colaianni, son-in-law, Gregory Laudick.

She is survived by her sister, Betty Jean Rieck of Avon, OH, and her loving children, Joseph (Catherine) Pastre of New Concord, OH; Cynthia (John) Kaffana of Dillonvale, OH; Vincent (Shirley) Pastre of Adena,OH; Melissa Laudick of Kennesaw, GA; Bernice (Jay) Donley of Jewett, OH.  Marian loved her nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  She is also survived by her sister-in-laws, MaryAnn Colaianni, Louise Pastre, sister-in-law, Nancy Wells, and brother-in-law Edwin Wells.

Marian was a member of St. Casmir Catholic Church in Adena, the C.W.C., Piney Fork American Legion Auxiliary, and the Mt. Pleasant Garden Club. 

Marian has been blessed with care givers that loved and treated her with tender care.  Thank you from the family and Marian’s heart, Debbie, Barb, Linda, Sally, and Ann.  Also, many thanks to Valley Hospice.

In accordance with COVID-19, social distancing and masks will be requested at a visitation on Sunday, September 20, 2020 from 2-5 at Wilson Funeral Home, Dillonvale, OH.

Funeral mass will be Monday, at 10a.m. at St. Adalbert’s Catholic Church in Dillonvale with Msgr. John Kolesar officiating.  Interment at Northern Cemetery in Smithfield.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Marian’s memory to St. Casmir Church, 221 Hanna Ave., Adena, OH 43901, or Valley Hospice.
