Marjorie Joan Korpon, 90 of St. Clairsville, OH, passed away Monday, November 17, 2025, at Belmont Manor. She was born on April 12, 1935, in Wheeling, WV, the daughter of the late Charles Murray and Grace (St. Myers) Showalter.
Marjorie retired from the former Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Company in the main office in Wheeling as a clerk. She was Catholic by faith, she touched the lives of all who knew her, may she rest in eternal peace.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald J. Korpon, siblings, John “Jack” (Lil) Showalter, Clara Showalter, James “Jim” Showalter, Donald (Rhea) Showalter, and sister-in-law, Linda Showalter.
Surviving are her siblings, Theodore “Ted” Showalter, Jean (Tom) Coffman, Judith “Judi” (David) Kirker, sister-in-law Joann Showalter and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received Friday, November 21, 2025, from 10 am till time of service at 1 pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Bridgeport, OH. 43912. Funeral Service will be at 1 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Mike officiating, burial to follow at Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville, OH, 43950.
