Marjorie Villies Obituary



Marjorie Louise Villies passed away at Bethany Point Health Campus in Anderson, IN on August 9, 2019. Born January 23, 1929 in Toronto, OH, she was the daughter of Harry K.Peters and Rose L. Hunter. Marjorie married the late hereJohn N Villies in 1952. She was predeceased by sisters Patricia R. Peters, Doris J. Price, and brother William Mulrooney. She is survived by her two daughters Linda Rose (John) Caspole of Carlsbad, CA and Joanna Elizabeth (Paul) Wood of Anderson, IN and two granddaughters Michelle Louise and Jennifer Ann Caspole both of Vista, CA.
 
Marjorie taught at Hills Elementary School, Indian Creek School District in Mingo Junction from 1970 to 1992 and was a member of the Covenant Presbyterian Church in Steubenville. Marge and John lived 50 years in Mingo Junction before moving to Anderson, IN in 2005 to be near their daughter, Joanna. 
 
Funeral arrangements will be with Blaschalk- Wilson Funeral Home and the graveside service to take place at Union Cemetery in Steubenville, Ohio on Thursday, August 15th at 11:00 a.m. where she will be laid to rest beside her husband of 60 years. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Team Rubicon USA which is a disaster relief organization the uses volunteer veterans and emergency responders to assist with natural disasters. To learn more this organization, go to www.teamrubiconusa.org
