Marquerite A. "Mickie" (Nickerson) Landis

Marquerite “Mickie” Ann (Nickerson) Landis, 84 passed away Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Belmont Manor in St. Clairsville.  She was born June 29, 1940, in Wheeling, WV the daughter of the late Arthur T. and Mary Francis (Miller) Nickerson.

Mickie was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church in Bridgeport, OH.  She retired from Wheeling Downs Racetrack 4 times.

She loved spending time with her husband, daughter, and grandchildren.  She was known for her kind giving heart and a good work ethic.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Wilbert and William Miller.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Charles E. Landis, daughter, Angel (Joshua) Bock of Bridgeport, grandchildren, Mickenzie N. Moore, Alexis Bock, and Lukas Bock.

In keeping with her wishes there will be no public visitation, and services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements are entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Bridgeport, OH 43912.
