Martin Blanchette

Martin Blanchette, 77 of Martins Ferry passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at Wheeling Hospital.  He was born June 28, 1947, in Manhattan, New York, the son of the late Oscar and Edna (Casey) Blanchette. 

Martin lived and loved life; he never met a stranger.  He was a Hairdresser and worked for the Signature Salon in Wheeling, WV.  He was a member of the St. Joseph Cathedral in Wheeling, WV. His life impacted his clients, friends, and family.  He is now resting with his Lord and savior.  All who knew him are blessed. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Marsha Blanchette, Jerry White, Rita Larsen, and Jean Mercer, and his life partner, Randy West.   

Left to cherish his memory are his very dear friend Brett Orban, and several nieces.
