Mary Virginia (Blatt) Eble

Mary V. Eble, 79, of Wheeling, WV, formerly of Bridgeport, OH, died April 1, 2019 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Wheeling.  She was born on Easter Sunday, March 24, 1940 in Proctor, WV a daughter of the late John and Mary (Mokosh) Blatt.  Mary was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wolfhurst where she belonged to the Catholic Women’s Club. She worked in the Cafeteria at the former St. Joseph’s Catholic Church School.  In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Eble.  She is survived by her children, Eugene (Agnes) Eble of Temecula, CA, Diane (Robert) Jones of Bethlehem, PA, Carole Eble of Los Angeles, Ca; brothers, John Blatt of Wheeling, James (Peg) Blatt of Wheeling, Richard (Renee) Blatt of Columbus; sisters, Carolyn Blatt of Wheeling, Nancy Freeman of Valley Grove, Kathleen Kramer of Wheeling; grandchildren, Ryan Eble , Terence Dominguez, Benjamin and Samuel Jones; and three great-grandchildren, Leiyan, Leilah, Jake Dominguez.  Friends will be received Friday, April 5th from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd. Bridgeport, OH 43912.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, April 6th at 10am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 68210 Neola Ave. Bridgeport, OH with Fr.
