Mary E. (Digman) Rager

Mary E. (Digman) Rager, 83 of Dillonvale passed away peacefully after a lengthy battle with cancer on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at Valley Hospice – Trinity, Steubenville.  She was born on May 26, 1941, in Wheeling the daughter of the late Bernard T. and Eulah Digman. 

Mary worked for many years at the Co-Op in Dillonvale, was a member of the Methodist Church and took pride in raising her family.  She enjoyed her friendships and loved to go to the free summer concerts around the area.  Mary was a devoted loving, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who dedicated herself to the care of her family. 

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Wayne “Squack” (Pam) Rager and Tim Rager both of Dillonvale, grandchildren, Timothy (Daniel) Rager, Peyton and Haleigh Poch, great-grandchildren, T.J. and Natalie Rager. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne A. Rager in 2014, daughter Patti Rager and 3 brothers and 1 sister. 

In keeping with her wishes there will be no public visitation, and burial will take place at Holly Memorial Garden, Pleasant Grove at a later date.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home – Dillonvale Chapel, 154 Second St., Dillonvale, OH 43917. 

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Valley Hospice, 10686, SR 150, Rayland, OH 43943 or to Tony Teramana Cancer Center, 3204 Johnson Rd., Steubenville, OH 43952.
