Milton Edward “Biz” Bisbocci, 79 recently of Salem, Virginia (Formerly of Martins Ferry) passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, in Salem, Virginia. Ed was a graduate of Martins Ferry High School, Class of 1963. He retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel (Yorkville plant) after 41 years. He served in the United States Army from 1965 to 1968 and will be buried with full military honors.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents, John and Blanche (Accurti) Bisbocci, as well as his brother John H. Bisbocci. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Evron G. (Ashton) Bisbocci of Salem, VA; son, Chris (Brandy) Bisbocci of Grapevine, TX; grandson LCPL Quentin Bisbocci, USMC, of Okinawa, Japan; granddaughter, Lucia Bisbocci of Grapevine, TX; sister-in-law, Claudia (Caseber) Bisbocci of Martins Ferry, brothers in law, Woodie Ashton and Gary Heiler of Roanoke, VA; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Biz was a member of several fraternal organizations including American Legion Post #38, VFW Post #4811, and Moose Lodge #284, amongst others.
Family and friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home – Heslop Chapel, 415 Walnut Street, Martins Ferry, OH, 43935, on Thursday, October 12, from 5-8pm. Funeral Service will be the following morning, October 13, 2023, at 11am with Pastor Chap Holbert officiating. Interment will immediately follow with full Military Honors, presented by The Belmont County Veteran Association at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH.
