In Loving Memory of Nansie Marling
We are saddened to announce the passing of Nansie Marling, on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, a kind-hearted and gentle soul whose warmth touched everyone she met. She was born on September 13, 1956, in Wheeling, WV, the daughter of the late Joseph and Nansie (Dienstel) Follen.
Nansie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dan Marling, whom she loved deeply and devotedly. Their bond was one of true partnership, and her affection for him remained a constant throughout her life.
She is survived by her son Andy, and by her stepchildren, Josh and Ashley Marling, grandchild, Middison as well as Anna and Josh Herrin, will carry her memory forward. Nansie had a lifelong love for animals and compassionate spirit that showed in the way she cared for them. Her kindness and gentle presence left a lasting impression on all who knew her. She will be remembered for hew warm heart, her quiet strength, and her unwavering kindness. Though she will be deeply missed, we take comfort knowing she is reunited with Dan, the love of her life. may her memory be a blessing, and may she rest in peace.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Bridgeport, OH, 43912. In keeping with Nansie’s wishes there will be no visitation, and services will be held at the convenience of the family.
