PATTY JOANN FREEMAN
Patty JoAnn Freeman, 72, of Bethesda, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at Wheeling Hospital. Patty was born in Barnesville, Ohio on April 10, 1948 to the late Francis Wyverne (Buck) Freeman and Margie Eileen (Bates) Freeman.
Patty attended the Canton College of Business after graduating from Barnesville High School in 1966 and became a state tested nurse’s aide in 2007. She was a member of the Belmont Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society since 2003 and was certified for Pioneer Families of Belmont County, Ohio in 2014. Patty was also a fierce Cinch player and had a passion for Lighthouses. In 2017 she fulfilled her dream of seeing her favorite lighthouse, the West Quoddy Head Light, in Lubec, Maine.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Milton Freeman.
Patty is survived by son; Timothy Ray Brown; daughter; Krista Kay (Jason) Barrett; two grandsons, Tristan Kyle Barrett and Nathan Ray Brown; sister; Frances Ellen (Freeman) Brown; niece, Kathy Jo Brown; nephew, Chris Allen Brown; special friend, Heidi Robert; and many other family and friends.
It was Patty’s wish that interment take place at a later date.
