Devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Paul Jack Stubbs, passed away September 30, 2021 at Barnesville Hospital. Born August 12, 1934 in Hendrysburg, Ohio, he was the son of the late Paul and Marie (Winland) Stubbs.
In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his first wife, Linda Lou Stubbs; daughter, Lori Ann Stubbs; sisters, Betty White, Cindy Kitlak, Pauline DeMartin, and Bonnie Winner.
Working many years in the coal industry, Jack enjoyed fishing, crossword puzzles, and working on small engines. He was a member of Morristown Methodist Church and simply loved being in attendance. Proudly, he served his country in the United States Army 2nd Division, Hell on Wheels.
Jack will be sadly missed by his wife of 13 years, Kathleen Stubbs of Bethesda; children, Paul (Hope) Stubbs, Eric Stubbs all of Belmont, James (Jennifer) Blake of Washington, and Julie (Robert) Wharton of Belmont; grandchildren, Paul (Meredith) Stubbs, Jr., Savannah, Nate, Shayla, and Mattie Stubbs, Jesse Blake; great-grandson, Liam Stubbs; sister, Patsy Stubbs; and his furry companion, Morris.
A Graveside Service and interment will be held on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at 11:30 am, Belmont Cemetery. Military Honors will be presented.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest Memorial contributions made to Morristown United Methodist Church, 201 Church Street, Morristown, Ohio 43759.
