PEGGY L. MARKOVICH
Flying high with the angels, Peggy L. Markovich, 82, of Piedmont, Ohio went home at Trinity West Health System in Steubenville, surrounded by her family. She was born in Flushing, Ohio, July 15, 1937. She loved playing Bingo and enjoyed puzzle books.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Frances Roush; infant sister, Frances; brothers, Clearance, George, Harold, and Bill Roush.
Surviving and cherishing Peggy’s memory are daughters, Bonita (Ernie) Jasmin of Adena, Lori (Tom) Sharp of Piedmont, with whom Peggy lived; son, Stanley “Butch” (Dee) Markovich of Piedmont; her very special grandchildren who helped with her care and filled her life with joy, Duanna (James), Jessica (Jake), Jason (Amanda), Crystal, Ernest, Makayla, Nichole, Austin; 14 great-grandchildren and two on the way; sister, Patty (Bob) Ludewig of Wintersville; sisters-in-law, Betty Roush who she loved dearly, Debra and Darryl Yancey and daughter, Jacqueline Fox, who always traveled from Virginia and enjoyed cooking for Peggy; Morgan and Karlee who lived with Peggy and made her smile every day.
A very special and warm thank you to Betty Edwards who was always there for Peggy and her family with genuine support and to the great-grandchildren who would make her peanut butter sandwiches and coffee.
Family and friends are invited for visitation, Wednesday, November 20, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, 322 N. Main Street, Bethesda, where the service will be conducted, Thursday, November 21, 2019 at 11:00 am. Pastor Bob Merritt officiating. Interment will follow Rock Hill Cemetery, Flushing.
