Randy “Hoss” Hudson, 61, of Beallsville, Ohio passed away Friday, August 8, 2025 in Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, West Virginia. He was born June 4, 1964 in Barnesville, Ohio, a son of Patty Crum VanDyne and the late Charles Lynn Hudson.
Hoss had been a diesel mechanic for over 20 years and was most recently employed at Ag-Pro, in St. Clairsville, Ohio. He was a man of many talents and interests; he enjoyed deer hunting with friends, fishing, baling hay, and working on the family farm. Hoss will be remembered as a loving Papaw and a loyal friend, someone who was never serious and who always found something to joke about.
Left to cherish his memory are his devoted wife, Tammy Rossiter Hudson; a daughter, Paige (Sam) Myers; a son Brandon (Kyra) Hudson; siblings, Cheryl (Ray) Cole, Bill (Brenda) Hudson, Chunk (Betty) Hudson, Wendy (Dale) Roman, Jeff (Kelly) VanDyne, and Raymond (Shawn) VanDyne; his pride and joys, five grandchildren, Stella, Eli, Kase, Owen, and Sawyer; also many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 12 at the Wilson Funeral Home, Harper Chapel, Beallsville from 2pm until the time of the funeral service at 6pm with Colin Morrison officiating.
