Raymond L. Davis

  Raymond L. Davis Sr. 85 of Martins Ferry died Friday January 8, 2021 at his home. He was born November 7, 1935 in Tyler County WV, a son of the late William N. Sr. and Tillie M. (Dawson) Davis.
  He was retired from local #809 labors union, and US Security Wheeling, a Veteran in the US Navy in Korea, a member of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church Pleasant Grove, and a member of the VFW #4811 Yorkville.
  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife Eva “Darlene” (Kidd) Davis in 2019, his siblings William Davis Jr. Charles Davis, Kenneth H. Davis, William Eugene Davis, Wilma Senatore, and Lillie Moffitt, also several nieces and nephews.
 Ray is survived by his children Raymond L. Davis Jr. of Glen Robbins, Jack R. (Missy) Schrader of Tiltonsville, Michael (Haley) Schrader of Dillonvale, Susan (Jeff) Cantrell of VA, Tammy (Jeff) Morris-Schrader of Rayland, Malissa (Bob) Keown of Martins Ferry, and Dawn (Herbie) Neihouse of Orrville, OH. His siblings Dewayne (Geneva) Davis of Glen Robbins, Betty Meeker of Tiltonsville, and Sandra Dolfi of Adena, 22 grandchildren and 25 great and several great greatgrandchildren.
  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday January 13, 2021 at 1 pm at Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside with Pastor Dan Nelson officiating, interment in Olive Branch Cemetery Harrisville.
