Raymond "Mike" Price

Raymond M. “Mike” Price 74 of Mt. Pleasant formerly of Bridgeport, passed away Thursday February 18, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born June 2, 1946 in Martins Ferry, a son of the late Clarence Sr. and Amanda (Himes) Price.
  He was a retired horse jockey agent, a Viet-Nam Veteran in the US Air Force. He was a member of the Bridgeport Eagles #995, and the VFW. Mike was an avid outdoorsman, and he loved to fish, and his passion was his horses.
  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter Amy Gaiters, siblings Clarence Price Jr. Carl Bruce Price, Gordon Price and Kimberley Ann Price.
  Mike is survived by his son Joseph (Cindy) Sparksman of Wheeling, and a daughter Shelly Walters of Bellaire, his siblings Wayne (Tana) Price of Wheeling, and Robyn Price of Baltimore, MD a sister-in-law Mary Ann Price of Bridgeport, 6 grandchildren Imeri Morehead, Andrea and Allison Gaiters, Paul Felix, Jayda Marshall, and Dasani Walters, 3 great grandchildren, also several nieces and nephews, and his buddy’s Bella, and Storm Cat.
  According to Mike’s wishes there will be no public visitation and private interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside assisting the family.
