Richard Joseph Kyanko passed away on Monday, June 7, 2021, at the age of 78. He was born in Wheeling, West Virginia on November 17, 1942, son of the late Stephen and Elizabeth (Yuhasz) Kyanko.
Beyond his family, who loved him dearly, Richard will be missed by those he worked with across Cleveland as a longtime business owner, by his fellow veterans of the U.S. Army and by the many communities he served as a dedicated churchgoer and volunteer.
He is survived by his two daughters, Janine Kyanko and Kelly Kyanko, his sister Rose Marie Coyle, his brothers Roderick Kyanko, Ralph Kyanko, Reginald Kyanko and his three grandchildren, Daniel Reiss, Benjamin Reiss and Ines Alday.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Robert, Ronald and Raymond Kyanko.
Friends will be received on Friday, June 11, 2021, from 4:00 to 8:00PM at Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 10:00AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church Wolfhurst, with Fr. John Mucha as celebrant. Entombment will be held at Holly Memorial Gardens in Colerain, Ohio. Full military graveside will be conducted by the Belmont County Veterans.
