Robert A. "Bob" Gruse Jr.

Robert A. Gruse Jr. 72, of Colerain passed away Tuesday April 8, 2025, at the Aspenwall VA Hospital Pittsburgh Pa. He was born on November 15, 1952, in Martins Ferry, a son of the late Robert A. Sr. and Edith (Kemo) Gruse.

Bob was a Veteran in the US Marine Corp. and District Manager for Life Touch School Photography, he also belonged to the St. Clairsville American Legion Post #159 and a lifetime member of the VFW.

Bob is survived by his wife Cassie (Freeman) Gruse, his sons Brandon and Shane Gruse of Colerain, and his daughter Jami Bruce and her companion Chad Myers of Bellaire, grandchildren Lainie, Alex, and Abby, and a grandson Emmett, a sister Karen L. Wolf of Colerain, and a brother-in law Ronald Freemen of Rayland.

According to Bob’s wishes private services will be held at the convience of the family and interment will be at Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove. Wilson Funeral Home Heslop Chapel assisting the family.
