Roxanne (Ronevich) VanGosen

Roxanne (Ronevich) VanGosen, 74, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Trinity Medical Center in Steubenville, OH.  She was born March 16, 1951, in Martins Ferry, the daughter of the late Chester and Stella Mary (Cizeski) Ronevich. 

Roxanne was Protestant by faith and a member of the Mt. Pleasant Friends Church, she worked at the former Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel – Corporation, a member of the local Garden Club, and a proud graduate of The Ohio State University.   Her life was filled with wonderful memories and laughs for her family to remember her by.  She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, besides being a hard worker in the steel mill, she was a proud homemaker, and mother who took time to enjoy the little things in life. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband Roger Lee VanGosen, brothers, Roger Lee Ronevich, and Ronald L. Ronevich. 

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Rachel (David) Antonelli, Roger Lee VanGosen, II, and Ryan Michael (Melissa) VanGosen,  grandchildren, Roger S. VanGosen, Marissa Carothers, Max Eli VanGosen, Gabriella and Giavanna Antonelli, siblings, Richard Lee Ronevich, Danny Lee (Debbie) Ronevich and Esther M. Corvi, and special friend, Janice Martin-Beaver. 

Family will receive friends on Thursday, March 27, 2025, from 2-4 and 6-8 at the Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second St., Dillonvale, OH 43917.  Funeral service will be Friday, March 28, 2025, at 11am at the funeral home with burial to follow at the Highland Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant.
