Shelvia Jean Hashman age 73 of Madison, AL passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at her residence. She was born in Barnesville, OH on August 1, 1951, to the late Paul Max and Imogene Pearl (Taylor) Triplett.
Shelvia was a Wife and Homemaker, who dedicated her life to her children, grandchildren and family. She was an angel and mother to all, she was an avid book reader who also enjoyed crossword and word search puzzles, soap operas, TV shows, movies and celebrities.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brother Jeffery R. Triplett.
Shelvia is survived by her loving husband Richard A. Hashman of Madison, AL and loving children Randy W. Hashman, Rebecca (Terry) Maxwell of Madison, AL and James (Lisa) Hashman of Huntsville, AL, Rick (Dee) Hashman of Bethesda, OH, and Tim Crothers of Tanner, AL; grandchildren Dakota Singiser (fiancee, Sandra Simmons), Mackenzi Singiser, Blain (Megan) Maxwell, Haley (Jordan) Gyurnek, and Olivia Hashman; Survived by a brother, Paul (Sandy) Triplett of Flushing; and 4 sisters: Debbie Spicer, Connie (Mark) Grear of Dayton, Roberta Horstman of Martins Ferry, Bonnie Lucas of Morristown and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 11am to the time of service at 1pm at the Wilson Funeral Home, Barnesville Chapel, 702 East Main Street, Barnesville, Ohio 43713. Pastor Rodney West will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Fairview Cemetery.
