Suzanne Marie (Paul) Busch

Suzanne Marie Busch, 78, of Colerain, passed away in her home surrounded by her family on Friday, July 17, 2020.  She was born on May 10, 1942 in Wheeling, a daughter of the late Victor G. and Mary (Hughes) Paul Sr.  She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, graduated from Wheeling Hospital School of Nursing and received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from Wheeling Jesuit.  Suzanne worked in the Emergency Room of Wheeling Hospital for 25 years.  After leaving the hospital she worked for a local Hospice organization and then retired from Peterson Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in 2009.  After her retirement she volunteered at Wheeling Hospital.  She was an accomplished quilt maker, a skillful seamstress and an avid reader.

She is survived by her husband, Denis Busch; a brother, Victor (Vicki) Paul Jr.; stepmother, Martha Paul; 3 stepsons, Michael (Diane) Busch, David (Judy) Busch and Timothy (Elizabeth) Busch; nephews, Matthew (Jill) Paul and Michael (Jen) Paul; nieces, Jessica Paul and Katie (Jason) Lightner and many step grandchildren.

Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents, a stepdaughter, Catherine Mason and a nephew, Timothy Paul.

Friends may call Tuesday from 3-6 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside.  Funeral Liturgy will be held Wednesday at 10 am in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 630 Main St., Bridgeport, with Father John Mucha officiating.
