Vera O'Hara Obituary

Vera M. O’Hara 82, of Bridgeport passed away Thursday October 12, 2023, at her Home surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 9, 1941, in Martins Ferry, a daughter of the late William and Laura (Bennett) Steele.

Vera was a housewife raising seven children, and she loved to play bingo.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her siblings Barbara Winzenreid, William and Clifford Steele, and Alberta Moore, a grandson Seth Alexander, also a Great Grandson Levi Kinsey.

Vera is survived by her children Juanita Lodi of Bridgeport, Laura Conaway of Wheeling, William Heath, and Debra Cumberlidge both of Bridgeport, Wanda (Mike) Swiger and Tina Foston both of Wheeling, and Sharon (Mark) Evans of Bellaire, 15 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and two great great-granddaughters.

According to Vera’s wishes there will be no public visitation and private interment will be held at the convience of the family. Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside assisting the family.
