Wilbur William Garrison, 80, of Bridgeport, Ohio, died December 15, 2025, at home.
He was born on December 15, 1945, the son of late Wilbur and Henrietta "Sis" Hocking Garrison of Wheeling, W.Va.
Wilbur was a retired steelworker at the Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Mingo Junction plant. He was a Wheeling Central High School graduate where he played football and wrestled. He also attended West Liberty State College. He was an avid antique collector and once operated an antique shop in Wintersville, Ohio. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death his longtime partner Cindy Bippus.
He is survived by his daughter Shelley (Scott) Hanson of Martins Ferry, Ohio; daughter Ann Rezzonico Toler of Beckley, W.Va.; sons James Garrison of Bridgeport, Ohio, and Wilbur (Stacy) Garrison Jr., of Jackson, Ohio; brother Donald (Cheryl) Garrison of Wheeling; niece Lori (Rob) Garrison Giordano of Naples, Florida; grandchildren Henry Hanson, Liam Garrison, McGwire Garrison, Hadly Garrison, Kealy (Justin) Breton and Amy (Nick) Vucurevich; great grandchildren Alexander, Adaline and Archer Breton, and Colton, Carson and Clara Vucurevich. His longtime friend Bonnie Jackson. And his beloved dog Neco.
You will be missed, Dad. Rest in peace.
A celebration of life service for Wilbur will be held at a later date. The family is being assisted by Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Bridgeport, Ohio 43912.
