William Kloss Obituary

William Edward Kloss, 79, of Bridgeport, passed away on Monday, November 30, 2020 in his residence.  He was born on October 8, 1941 in Wheeling a son of the late John and Josephine (DeMatte) Kloss.  He was a member of St Joseph Catholic Church, served his country in the US Coast Guard and retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Yorkville plant.  Bill was a member of the Foresters Club, Indian Club and the Knights of Columbus, he also enjoyed boating, fishing and was an avid Cleveland Browns fan.  Bill loved playing Santa Claus to those he loved with a generous and loving spirit.

Bill is survived by 3 brothers, Joseph (Lina) Kloss of Akron, Jack (Jean) Kloss and Charlie Kloss all of Bridgeport; 13 nieces and nephews; 13 great nieces and nephews and 8 great great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Regina (Donald) Finnegan and a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Kloss.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic a memorial service will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to either St Joseph catholic Church, 68210 Neola Ave, Bridgeport, OH  43912 or The Christian Friendship Council Food Pantry, P.O. Box 292, Bridgeport, OH  43912.
